Meeting No. 375

The PSME-SA & Friends Toastmasters Club held its 375th meeting in IPSA, Al-Khobar last September 26, 2012 with a meaningful theme "I Like You". TM Luis Desuyo had made his first performance as the Toastmaster of the evening. 

 

TM Raymund Guinabo had delivered successfully his 2nd CC speech project regarding the Philippine Resources.  TM Lito Alpay had delivered also his 1st ACG speech project regarding his experience during the Toastmasters International annual convention in the USA last August 2012.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Presentation of Awards

September 19, 2012 was a memorable day to the PSME-SA & Friends Toastmasters Club as it marked another milestone in its history.

Earlier in the week, the Club received two awards from the Toastmasters International comprising of the following:

• President's Distinguished Club Award 2011 - 2012
• Founders Award

The President's Distinguished Club Award was given by the Toastmasters International in recognition of  the Club's achievement in scoring a perfect 10 DCP points for the the period 2011 - 2012. 

The Founders Award was given by the Toastmasters International in recognition of the Club's achievement in founding a new Toastmasters Club - the PICE-EPSA Toastmasters Club.

The Area 70 Governor, TM Brindha Subathran presented the Awards to the PSME-SA & Friends Toastmasters Club during the Weekly Meeting in IPSA, Al-Khobar on September 19, 2012.

Happy 10th Anniversary

Today, September 20, 2012 marks another milestone in the history of the PSME-SA and Friends Toastmasters Club by celebrating its 10th foundation anniversary.

Happy Anniversary to all members of the Club. Mabuhay!!!!

 

Meeting No. 374

The PSME-SA and Friends Toastmasters Club held its 374th meeting in IPSA, Al-Khobar on September 19, 2012 with a theme " Practice Makes Perfect".  TM Ariel Ebarle who just returned from his vacation from the Philippines acted as the Toastmaster of the evening.

The meeting was a special one as it was attended by the Area 70 Governor, TM Brindha Subathran.
Club officers of  the PICE-EPSA Toastmasters Club  like TM Elmer Reyes (Club President) and TM Zoilo Caringal (VP Education) also attended the meeting.

TM Alan Abellana delivered his 1st speech project in the Advanced Communications series leading to Advance Communicator Silver (ACS). His speech tackled on the levels of communications which was followed by a mini-role play highlighting the points in his speech project.

The night ended by sharing the super-hot noodles soup prepared by the loving wife of TM Ven Macatuggal.

 

Meeting No. 371

After a two-week suspension of meetings due to the Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, the PSME-SA and Friends Toastmasters Club resumed its weekly meeting in IPSA, Al Khobar on August 29, 2012. "What drives your life?" was the theme of the meeting.

TM Noy Pangilinan was the Toastmaster of the meeting. Some guests like Dindo Cabatino, Romeo Fernandez and Rolando Naputo attended the meeting and showed their eagerness to join the Toastmasters Club.

It was a memorable night for TM Jay Alcasabas as he delivered his 10th CC speech project, thus completing the speech projects in the Competent Communication series. TM Francis Lubuguin delivered his 2nd CC speech project with more confidence.

This time, light snacks were served instead of the usual steaming noodle soup. TM Ven Macatuggal promised to return to the favorite menus starting next Wednesday. Home-made foods are really delicious!!!
